Sandicliffe Motor Contracts are pleased to be supporting Katrine Hudson’s 100km epic Sahara Challenge for Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
Sandicliffe Motor Contracts will be sponsoring two driving gift experiences which will be donated as prizes for Katrine’s fundraiser event, taking place on June 15 2019 at Sissons Barn, Peakirk.
Katrine who is from Lincolnshire will jet off to Marrakech in Morrocco at the end of September, where she will then undertake a grueling 100km walk through the Sahara Desert’s challenging temperatures in aid of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
Katrine shares a close link to Sandicliffe Motor Contracts through her husband Phil Hudson, who is one of the company’s business development managers at SMC.
When asked “why are you doing this?”, Katrine said;
“Last year, I saw first-hand how the air ambulance works when it came to help a member of my village. They were exceptional. In my job as a funeral celebrant, I see a lot of families donate to the charity, so I thought to myself, its a worthy cause why shouldn’t I do it?”
she added,
Both Phil and I are really grateful to Sandicliffe Motor Contracts for their support and generous sponsorship. I’d love to raise more than £1,600 for the charity – that is my personal aim but it would be great if I could get it to £2,500!
Fundraising
Katrine will be holding a ‘Night at the Oscars‘ themed fundraising ball on Saturday, June 15 at Sissons Barn, Peakirk.
Tables of 10 can be booked at £60 per person, which includes a three-course meal, auction, and entertainment.
